Places offered for active participants: 6.
Observer places are available.
In this MIPFA Summer Seminar you will participate in several online group sessions with the maestro, in which all pianists registered will take part in discussions over their colleagues’ interpretations and the repertoire presented in this seminar.
All pianists registered in the seminar are required to participate in all sessions.
All sessions take place through MIPFA Videoconference System, an exclusive software specially developed for online music lessons.
Working with Maestro Palese you will focus on the interpretation of specific aspects of the text and all that is written beyond the notes, allowing us to imagine a performance beyond what is written in the score.
The repertoire to be presented by participants in this Seminar will not be limited to a specific composer or period, since the topic of the event aims to treat the techniques of musical text interpretation — a study that shall be applied to every work and piece that pianists play.
During the Three–Day Seminar Mr. Palese and the rest of the participants will hear one or two pianists perform per session, while the rest of the participants will have the opportunity to interact with questions related to the topic, adding more excitement to the course.
