This first event of MIPFA academic year 20/21 premieres our virtual platform —the first of many to come during this season!
The pandemic of 2020 has been devastating to all cultural and educational institutions. Following CDC guidelines, the doors of schools and concert halls have beenclosed. One of the casualties was The Miami International Piano Festival Academy that was to take place at Nova Southeastern University in South Florida. For more than fifty young pianists, those exciting and stimulating summer weeks of past years were taken away.
But today we are excited to announce that MIPFA officially opens the doors of its Virtual Platform and the beginning of its 2020/2021 academic year. Many of the great artists we have presented in the past will share their artistry with the entire world. You can watch these events via livestream through our social media nets. Music lovers will have the chance to access audio-visual content, performances, online master classes, and much more.
We urge you to apply, follow, and enjoy the multidimensional features available at the MIPFA Virtual Platform.
