All participants wanting to participate in the MIPF Winter Academy will need pass an online audition by presenting a video performing two contrasting pieces.
MIPFA and its supporters grant several MERIT SCHOLARSHIPS (partial) to those outstanding students who present the highest musical and artistic quality on their application video.

All students who apply to MIPFA Italy are required to pay and application fee of $50.00 (non-refundable), and a Registration Fee of $250.00 to secure their place.
The Registration fee will be applied to the Tuition Fee if the applicant finalizes the application process, but it will not be refundable if the applicant withdraws or doesn’t complete the application.
In case of deciding to pay your tuition fee on several instalments, application and registration fee may be included to your first payment.

*Participating in the 'Orchestral Experience' Program is a completely different program, independent from the regular programs taking place in Villa Medici- Giulini.
Tuition can be paid in up to 5 monthly installments, depending on how early you apply to any of the programs. There is Limited space for students applying to the instalment payment method - first students to apply will have priority.

Once your application is accepted, our team will guide you to the different payment options, which can be done through PayPal or Wire Bank Transfer.
*Payments done by PayPal include a transtaction fee of 0.2%
Pianists who participated in previous MIPFA Programs in the last 5 years are automatically granted a tuition reduction when they apply.
Their application is also more likely to receive a Merit Scholarship based on their involvement with the academy on their last visit to MIPFA.
Thanks to the support of individual donors that support the Miami International Piano Festival Academy, the artistic committee will select five outstanding participants as recipients of merit scholarships.
Merit scholarships are granted only to those participants with a level of excellence. The artistic committee will review the online auditions submitted with their application to grant these scholarships that will cover 50% of the cost of the program.
Merit scholarships will help cover only the expenses of the program. Participants need to cover their application and registration fees ($50.00 and $250). Applicants that participate in previous programs are more likely to obtain a Merit Scholarship.
